Digital out of ELAC Discovery Music Streamer is not found by Connect

My Question or Issue

Spotify connect does not find the digital output of my Elac Discovery music streamer. It finds the two analog outputs but not the digital one. Is the expected behaviour or  what can I do?

Thanks for getting in touch. Let's try with some troubleshooting 🙂

First, restart all your devices (and speaker). After that, make sure that:

• Both devices are on the same WiFi network.
• Your Spotify app is up-to-date.
• All devices’ software is up-to-date. If you don't know, check with your devices' manufacturers for how to update the version software.
• If possible, try switching between different networks and see if that helps.

thanks for your reply.

If done all what you have suggested. Still no success.

I went to my dealer and we checked with another Elac Discovery as well. Seems like the digital out of the streamer is not supporting Spotify Connect.

Do you know sth about this? Is this normal? Some outputs being supported, some don't?
