My Question or Issue

The Fire TV app is skipping songs. When I play an album once song #1 ends it skips song #2 and song #3 (which acts like it is going to play) and plays song #4. This is not shuffling because the skipping of song is in order and it isn't playing songs in random order. Plus when I try to play a skipped song manually it takes multiple clicks before it will play and gets skipped if ads start playing.

Would it be possible to send us a video of this behavior so we can investigate further? You can attach it to your response or upload it to YouTube or Google Drive.

Also, does the playback always skip 2 songs? Is it always the same songs that get skipped regardless if you've started a new playback session or not?

I've talked to some Spotify agents about the problem. A few just chalked my issue to me being in shuffle mode. Another helped me troubleshoot and when I reset my TV and internet connection my problem went away for 2 songs. So another agent and I went through all the trouble shooting steps and could not solve the issue. I was referred to talk to my TV manufacture. With my PC and Roku TV I haven't the problem it is just with my Insignia TV and I haven't any other issues involving my Insignia TV and other apps. So I guess the Spotify app and Insignia TVs are no longer fully compatible.

I'm having the same issue - the app itself is silent/produces no sound when listening to songs, and when I click play it constantly skips songs. Sometimes it'll just stop by itself or crash.

I have a firestick lite. All the other apps audio work fine and the skipping only is happening in this app, it's reflected on my devices too.

Making it possible for people who have a Fire Tv to use Spotify. The app is available for download and it claims to be compatible, however, there’s no sound when playing a song, songs skip rapidly in a matter or seconds. Troubleshooting steps are of no use. There are many forums with lots of users having this issue.

My Question or Issue

I just installed Spotify on my brand new Fire TV 4K Max and have always used it by casting music from my iPhone or iPad. It will work and play music as usual for about 20 minutes, but then it will suddenly fail to play music, skipping through songs or playing them without sound for a few seconds before skipping again. The problem still persists even after reinstalling the app and clearing the cache. I have even reset the Fire Stick. The Fire Stick is up to date. I have seen several posts on the same issue that are either outdated or do not match my problem.
