Heardle Stats Transfer - Not Fixed?!

Heardle Stats Transfer - Not Fixed?!

Just got a new phone (switched from a very old Pixel 3 to a brand new Pixel 7 with freshly downloaded Spotify app) and trying to figure out how to transfer over my heardle stats to the new device.  I'm logged into the same Spotify account everywhere - shouldn't this data tie to my account and not to the physical device?!  couldn't find anything in the other help forums to fix it.  Please help!

Hey @jddewolfe,

In order to see your stats, try heading to the original URL first (heardle.app).
This should automatically redirect you to the Spotify Heardle page 🙂
Don't hesitate to let us know if you need any further assistance!
Cheers!

I'm trying this on my phone and my stats are only showing on my phone. When I go to the web, it shows no stats.

Hey there @dljordaneku,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please send us some screenshots of what you see in both cases so we can compare and investigate?

Thanks in advance.

Sure. Here are two screenshots, one from my desktop which shows no stats, and the other from my phone with shows my stats.

Hi @dljordaneku,

Thanks for the screenshots. You're being offered the option to transfer stats via Heardle itself. What happens if you follow those steps? Please try that if you haven't. Also of course, make sure you're being logged into the correct account on both places.

Let us know how it goes.

I checked and I am logged in on both the phone and desktop. I have clicked the link to transfer I don't know how many times to transfer it and still nothing.

Hi @dljordaneku,

Thanks for the response. What happens if you open an incognito window and log into Heardle there? Do you receive your stats? Try this on different devices too if possible.

Keep us posted.

If I try this on my phone or on my computer, I have no stats. I only have stats when I go to the site on my phone, either https://www.spotify.com/heardle/ or https://www.heardle.app/ which just redirects me back to the Spotify link for the game.

Hey @dljordaneku,

Thanks for your reply.

Would you mind giving a different internet connection a go to see if the same happens?

Also, could you check if the same happens while using a different PC?

Keep us in the loop.

As I had mentioned earlier, it only shows me stats on my phone. If I go to a PC and log in, I have nothing. I have used my phone on my internet connection here at home and on the cell network. No matter how I connect on my phone, I have stats but nothing else.

Hey @dljordaneku,

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.

We've gone ahead and passed your reports to the right team and they're currently looking into this. However, we can't commit to a specific timeline for this inconvenience to be fixed.

For now, we'd suggest keeping both your apps up to date, so you don't miss out on any developments.

Thanks for the update. I know you can't comment to a timeline but is there any way to get any kind of update on it?

I guess this is just not going to be fixed?

Yep, I guess not. "Thanks," Spotify! 😑

I have a new phone and will be trading in my old one. So I guess I'll just loose all my stats.
