How do I cancel subscription after free trial

How do I cancel subscription after free trial

I'm not even certain of the actual date of when my free trial is up but I know that it must be soon. I thought Spotify would inform me automatically and give me the option of cancelling or continuing but have been told that this is not the case. I need help with this matter please.

Hi there,

 

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

 

You can cancel your Premium trial by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Under Manage your plan, click Change plan
  3. Scroll to Cancel Spotify and click Cancel Premium

The trial will be canceled, but you’ll remain on Premium until its time runs out. You won’t be charged afterwards, and your account will switch to free.

Hey:

I'm trying to cancel my premium one-month free trial which expires 11/12/24 (today is 11/5/24). After I login to my account page, there is no "Manage my plan" link. Only "Manage my subscription" link. After I clicked on "Manage my subscription", the page only shows a summary of my Free account. It doesn't show my free trial subscription. There is no Cancel Spotify or Cancel Premium. In fact, I cannot find anywhere it in the Spotify website or anywhere on my account page to cancel the Premium trial. Any recommendations on next steps? Thanks.

It sounds like you might be logging in to a different Spotify account, since you’ve mentioned that the account summary you see is from a free account—so I suggest taking a look at this FAQ article to find out if you have more than one Spotify account.
