Hey @katieabechtel,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.
The Enhance feature gives you suggestions of similar songs among the selected playlist, but you should be able to turn it off easily. If your playlist has the "Enhance" button on the top of it, you just need to hit it until it turns gray. However, if you have no "enhance" button, it's possible that the playlist has the Smart Shuffle turned on. In this case, just hit the shuffle button twice until it gets gray as well to avoid track suggestions.
In case you've tried this before but the issue persists, it could be related to some damaged cache stored on your device. Taking this into account, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.
If the issue persists, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
Hope this helps, let us know how it goes.
I'm sorry, but I use a Redmi note 9 pro, And there never seems to be a enhance button, I updated the app, uninstalled it, it never appeared...
Hey there @Justme8,
Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community.
Keep in mind that Smart Shuffle (Enhance before) is a Premium feature. If you have Premium, you can activate it by following these steps. For more info on how the feature works take a look at this article.
If you can't see this option, could you send us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end? We'll take a closer look. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.
Keep us posted.
I know I can hit shuffle twice, but having to do that each time is obnoxious, especially when driving! How do I shut off the feature so it doesn't default to on? I want to play MY playlist, not songs someone else (or a bot) thinks I might like...

Hi folks,
We're always looking for opportunities to enhance the user experience for everyone, so your feedback on this is greatly appreciated - thanks for sharing it here.
There's an idea about having Smart Shuffle as a separate button, which I think you may find interesting, so feel free to check it out and show your support (if you haven't already).
Cheers 💚
