Most seamless way to use spotify in multiple locations w/Alexa

I have Spotify premium and frequently get interrupted by my roommates when I am listening to music away from home since my Echos are linked to my Spotify. I was wondering if I should upgrade to multiple users or if there is a better option to avoid being interrupted. I am looking for a solution that is as simple as possible for me and my roommates so that It isn't a hassle when they want to hear a song and I don't end up having to stop listening for them to listen or snatch the music back from them.

A person should be able to buy the family plan and be allowed simultaneous Playback of different music on several of their smart home speakers. Multiple Spotify competitors already offer this without hassling their users. Apple and Tidal, for example.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

At the moment, it's not really possible to use multiple Spotify accounts on your Amazon speakers but you can work around this by creating an Amazon Household and adding additional accounts. The Amazon devices will then let you switch between user profiles via voice command, so if you associate multiple Amazon accounts with different Spotify ones, you can get the desired effect. 

Another option is to control the playback on your Alexa devices with Spotify Connect. You can choose your music in the Spotify app on mobile, tablet or desktop and select the speaker to listen on from the device list.

You can also consider adding your +VOTE to this idea, if this is a feature you'd like to see implemented in the future. Despite its current status, you can still add your vote to it and if anything changes in the future, we'll make sure to keep everyone updated over there.
