My Question or Issue

I have a UE43MU6172 ​​(Tizen) TV and a Samsung K450 soundbar connected to the TV via HDMI (ARC). After installing and running the Spotify app, there is no sound on the soundbar. After changing the output to TV, the sound appears in the TV speakers. There is no problem with other applications, including radio, etc., but Spotify is silent on the external speaker system.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

In this case, we'd suggest you make sure that:

  • Reinstall the Spotify App.
  • Both the firmware of your TV and Soundbar are up-to-date.

If the above doesn't seem to help, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:

  • Does this happen if you connect a different speaker/Bluetooth device to your TV and play some content over Spotify?
  • Does this happen when playing some specific content? If yes, send us the link to it.
  • Does this happen if you connect a different device to your Soundbar such as a mobile device?
