Hey there,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

In this case, we'd suggest you reinstall the app on your computer to see if you notice any difference. By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can find out the steps to do it here.

If the above doesn't do the trick, would you mind sharing with us the make/model and OS of your MacBook, along with the Spotify version you're running there? If you can't check this on the app, you can go to your computer settings and check the version from there.

Lastly, is this happening if you change the internet connection you're using? Is this happening over WiFi? Ethernet? Both? If possible, you can create a hotspot from your phone and connect your computer to it, to see if you notice any difference. Give it a try and let us know if changing the connection makes any difference.

Keep us in the loop!

Same thing happen to me.  I've reinstalled it and same thing happened.  Disappointing.

Please try a real clean installation with deleting all cached files prior as described at the beginning of the blog here. This helped me out.
