Unable to join thr premium family account

Hi, 

 

So I subscribed to this premium family account paid for it and all, then I send invites to my family members. They do get the emails and click on 'accept invite'but then they get the message 'Unable to join this Family plan. Try again by clicking the ACCEPT INVITE button in your email. If that doesn't work, ask the plan owner to send another invite. 

 

I been continuously trying it for hours but it isn't working at all and it's frustrating

Same thing for me too. Works fine on my account,but won't allow family members to join 😬

Thanks as this works a treat. All the family now signed up. Good to see Spotify have sorted the issue after it being active for 3 weeks...not.

Everyone who faces the same problem should give it a try. Although it pops out an italian version spotify site, it just works and i am once again able to invite family members to join the plan. Thanks dude...

Step 1, invite someone by email through your Spotify Account.

 

Step 2, The person who is invited to your Spotify Family plan will receive an email that contained an invitation code.

 

Step 3, Copy and paste this link to your browser's URL bar but dont send it: https://www.spotify.com/family/redeem/?token=xxxxxxxxxxxxx

 

Step 4, copy and replace xxxxxxxxxxxxx with your invitation code

( For example, I have an invitation code of SPFCknssurZCh. Then copy SPFCknssurZCh and replace xxxxxxxxxxxxx The whole URL will be: https://www.spotify.com/family/redeem/?token=SPFCknssurZCh )

 

Step 5, Send the "modified" url then you will be redirected to a confirmation page that requires your family address info.

 

Step 6, DONE, enjoy your music with your "family members"!!!

Where do you "send" the modified URL? 

Hi, I've tried this as well and I don't get the confirmation page so still can't connect other family members. Any other solutions?

I followed your steps, the it asks detailed information about my adress, postal code, etc i fill it out, still reports impossible to join 😞 help

did not work either!! it is sending me to the subscription and payments updates again and again!!!!

For me it also didn't work, the second time. 

I wrote many E-Mail with the spoitfy-support-Team, firt it works but suddenly i get kickt out of the family-account.

Can someone help me please!!!

 

@Anna_Mic, I came with same issue. Once you kickout you cant never get back. The only solution for the meantime create new account. If you playlist on your current account.. Put in in public then follow the playlist. 🙂 Hope thats help.

I have the same problem. Please fix it!

After 3 days trying to connect I think the  solution is to use another provider. We will cancel all subscription with spotify.

I am having the same problem. Unable to join family account when accepting the invite I received in the mail. Spotify, can we have some advice please?

 

Need help here as well. Tried to accept invite, enter the password to my email account & it won’t let me in

very frustrating that this doesn’t work 

My issue was that I didn’t have an account set up for the other members in my family. Once I set them up with their own account it worked.
