My Question or Issue

 I've never had Spotify premium before an on the website it says students can get 3 months for £0.99, £4.99 thereafter. I've just tried to sign up to this using unidays and it's only offering me £4.99 per month, nothing about the 3 months at £0.99. Has anyone else used this promo?

Hope you're doing great!

 

Keep in mind that if you have already used Premium for Students, you are ineligible for this offer. If you haven't tried Premium for Students, and you cannot claim your offer - please try using another browser or incognito mode.

 

If you're still having trouble, could you send me a screenshot of the offer, and a screenshot of the error message being shown if possible? Please hide sensitive info when posting to the community.

It's still not working. The offer is this:

But when I click 'Try Premium' - i'm taken to this page:

where my only option seems to be to pay £4.99 every month. The offer states £0.99 for 3 months, £4.99 thereafter. I've never had Spotify premium before. Have tried Safari, Chrome and incognito but it's the same each time.

Could you make sure you are logged out of the account, and try again? Also, keep in mind if you have already used your payment method on Spotify, you will be ineligible for this offer.

Still no joy. I logged out and tried to set up a new account but now it says my student id is linked to the other account.

 

I have never used my payment method before on Spotify. Can't understand why it won't work 😞

Thanks for getting back to us.

 

Instead of incognito, could you try to subscribe via a whole different device?

 

We've had a few other users report the same issue and we're currently looking into this. So if it's still not working we suggest you try again in a few days.

 

Keep in mind that you need to match the following criteria in order to make use of this offer:

 

  1. Your account should have never had Premium in the past. (The 2 and 7 day trial don't count)
  2. Your PayPal account should have never been used to subscribe to Premium on any account.
  3. Your credit card should have never been used to subscribe to Premium on any account.

If you match these criteria, please wait a few days and try again.
