Daily Mix #1 suddenly replaced with very old songs

My Daily Mix #1 today was suddenly replaced with songs from the 50's and 60's (see screenshots).  My liked songs and artists are all from the last 5 years and pop/alternative.

My Daily Mix #2 was also replaced with songs from 20-30 years ago.

How do I fix this?

Same here!  All my daily mixes were changed to oldies and other music I don't listen too at all or very often. Thought I was going crazy!

And now 24 hours later both Mix #1 and #2 are back to normal.  I hate that so many things at Spotify are opaque and have no controls.  Why can't I rate their daily mixes?  Why can't I downvote a song?  Why can't I prefer different content in mixes?  As it is now I'm scared to listen to an older song because I fear my mixes will suddenly have lots of older songs.

We thank you for taking the time to report the situation, we understand the importance of having accurate recommendations in your Personalized mixes. First up, we'd like to check if everything is working correctly now, or are you still seeing music genres you don't listen to in your Daily mixes?

Spotify is always learning about your tastes and preferences, so if you're not happy with the suggestions given in the mixes, just keep listening to more music you love and giving us feedback (hearting or hiding songs) so we can learn more about what you like!

MY daily mixes went back to normal.  How do I go about "hiding" a song in a list?  I do not see that option (see screenshot)

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.

We can confirm that on the desktop app, you can hide songs only on the Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists. It's expected to not see the hide (-) button on your Daily Mixes on the desktop app.

This works differently on the mobile app. You can hide songs on all the playlist made by others, including those made by Spotify (such as Daily Mixes). As a workaround, you can open your Daily mixes on a mobile phone app, select the three-dot menu of the song you'd like to hide, and you'll see there the Hide this song option:

You can also find the hide button for your Daily Mixes on the Now playing view:

On some devices, you can also find the hide button on the lock screen widget:
