Bought a gift code as a birthday present but I've been emailed the code??

Hi there,

I've recently bought a gift code online as a birthday present for my boyfriend and on the purchase screen it claims that I will have the option to print or email the gift card to him once I've authorised payment. I really wanted to print it out and put it in his card for tomorrow, but once I paid I just recieved an email receipt that had the download code on it.

I'm a little bit worried that they've emailed the code to me and I'm going to be the only one who can redeem it, or I'm worried that they've emailed him the gift card instead and the surprise is going to be ruined because his birthday isn't until tomorrow. 

I don't know what to do! Is there any way I can get a gift card still to print out or has that ship sailed already and I'll just have to give him the download code (assuming he hasn't already recieved it!)? I would just ask him but don't want to say anything incase he HASN'T got an email. 

Any help would be super appreciated! Thank you x
