Charged twice per month with different music methods

Charged twice per month with different music methods

I've had Spotify for almost two years now, and earlier last year, in October, there was a problem charging the account, so I switched the payment method to a different PayPal account. The charges went through, and I didn't notice any problems until my mother, who had been paying for the account until the charge problem, recently noticed that it had been charging her PayPal too, despite the fact I had switched it over to my PayPal.

I've looked at the recipt I got, and it doesn't match the recipt number on my account, and I can't see the recipt number on my mother's email, since she got her emails about the charges through Apple.

If we can figure out what's happening, is there a way to get a refund for the four months my mother has been charged?

Thank you,

Chloe

Hey @May_Murder, welcome to the Spotify Community!

If you would like, I can probably help you figure out what happened and also help ensure it doesn't happen again.

Spotify's refund policy can be found here: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/managing_payments/refund-policy/. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, all you need to do is get in contact with Spotify support! The easiest way to contact them is by messaging SpotifyCares on Facebook or Twitter. You can also use the online contact form on this website if you would prefer to communicate by email. They usually respond within 48 hours.

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help 🙂
