How do I change my payment details?

How do I change my payment details?

I'm trying to change my payment method for my premium family account. 

 

The support part of the website lists the following steps: 

 

To update or change your payment details:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Under Your plan, click UPDATE next to your payment method.
  3. Enter a new payment method. 

 

However, there is no 'Your Plan' button or section to look under, and when I look under 'Available plans' there is no UPDATE button to click. Under 'Premium family' the only option is to leave family mix. 

 

Seems like some pretty basic functionality to not be available, what's going on here?!

 

I'm in the UK, and I've checked the account menus on both my android phone and desktop.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out to the Spotify Community with your question.

 

I would first make sure when you are in the account page you are logged in with the account that is the Plan Manager. It sounds like you might be logged in with an account which is a member of the family plan but not the Plan Manager.

 

Plan Manager accounts under the account page should have access to:

  • Handle payments
  • Set the address
  • Invite and remove members
  • Control explicit music filtering
  • Create Kids accounts

If you are still getting this issue when you are logged in with the Plan Manager account would you mind sharing a screenshot of what your account page looks like for reference?
