How many subscriptions nesscary for Spotify Connect?

Hi!

If I would have 5 Android devices in my house I use as multi room Spotify Connect destinations.

And I have 2 iPhones in my house to control any of those 5 devices.

Will I only need 2 premium subscriptions on the 2 iphones that I use for controling everything?

Or will I need a seperate subscription for every device in my house?

I already have 2 premium subscriptions so I'm fine with being only able to play in 2 rooms at the same time.

But then when  I use spotify connect it should work with the account from the one where I control everything instead of the one where it is actually played.

Can you tell me which subscription will be used when I use spotify connect? The one from the controller or the one from the destination?

If you want to Connect between devices, so phone to phone (or tablet) then both phones need to be logged into the same Spotify account (with Premium). The number of subscriptions you need depends on how many simultaneous streams you want. If you just want one device to be playing at any given time, and you can "move" it around the house using connect then one subscription is enough. If you want say two devices playing at the same time, you need two Premium accounts (and 2 other devices to control them since you can only have 1 stream per account unless you want to continually log out and back in again to swap accounts).
