Trying to switch monthly price to Student Membership

I currently have a regular $10/month subscription. I just got a new card so my membership is about to expire in 5 days. Im trying to adjust the price to the student discount one but every link I found on spotify's website just takes me to a page that asks me to sign up again and doesnt show me an option or any indication that I am getting the discount. Should I wait 5 days for my subscription to end and then update it? Where do I go to make sure i get the disocunt

if i cancel my subscription from premium and start up a student one, I'm going to have to redownload all of my music again, correct?

Hi @cole_dcsr! No need to cancel your subscription to switch over to student! Simply visit the Student Discount page and enroll for your subscription through there.

If, for whatever reason, the process fails and states that you do not qualify, you can attempt again with manual verification from this page. 90% of the time the automatic verification process works without a hitch, but sometimes a more human touch is required, but again, you should not need to cancel your subscription to enroll.
