My Question or Issue

Hello, I am living in Morocco but have been subscribed through a french premium account but now I would like to switch it to a Moroccan premium account so I can also upgrade it to a family plan as it is cheaper and I don't live in France anymore. But somehow in my profile, I am not allowed to change my country to Morocco, please help!

 

For now, I have canceled my current subscription but I will lose access to the premium benefits by 18th of Feb so I'd really like to change country and re-subscribe to the Moroccan family plan so I can continue to enjoy the Spotify app. Many thanks for the help!

Thanks for reaching out. Not to worry, we'll help you get your country settings in order. 

 

The behaviour you described is to be expected for Premium accounts. As you can see here, the country of a Premium account is determined by the payment method. Since you've already cancelled your existing plan just wait for your account to revert to free and then resubscribe to Premium using your Moroccan payment method. This will update the country as well.
