Unable to change my country

Unable to change my country

Hello,

 

Firstly I must say the process to get to this point where I can post a support question is really frustrating, this is the first time I have needed support in eight years and really makes me think about leaving for one of the other services.

 

The submission also failed and deleted my message so this is the second attempt...

 

We have a Spotify premium account and have moved countries. I am unable to change the country from Australia to UK after moving and living in the UK. I have changed our address to the UK address.

This wouldn't be an issue however my daughter removed herself from the family plan and we are no longer able to add her to the account due to an error on accepting the invite that she is not in the same country.

 

So even though Spotify charge way too much in the UK (£19.99 vs $24AUD - almost double!!), we will have to accept this price gauging, and change to the UK, but we cannot.

 

So we are stuck, unable to change countries, unable to accept invite.

 

Please help.

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. 

 

Please try updating your payment method hereMake sure to select the correct country both at the bottom of the page and below the list of payment methods before choosing your payment method.

 

If the error persists, you’ll need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to expire.

 

Once your plan has ended, you’ll be able to change your country setting by following these instructions. After that, you can resubscribe to Premium here.
