I'm having some trouble going premium on my spotify account. When i try to go premium i get a message sayiing the following 

 

"Contact spotify support

Unfortunately, there is no support at the moment to make this type of change to your subscription. To change you may need to cancel your subscription first and then subscribe again. Alternatively contact ourcustomer service team who can help you further."

 

I have abslotely no idea of what to do now, I've contacted the support earlier today with no answer, I've already bought the gift card which i am unable to return due to the location of where I bought it so I need to fix this asap. Otherwise I think the giftcard receipt which is already a little damaged will become unuseable. I have tried everything in my power with no luck. Thank you in advance to anyone who can give me even the smallest amount of help

Unfortunately the answer is yes. The official support team tries to answer mails within 24 hours. Please tell me if you haven't gotten any response after 24 hours.

Hello @adde174 and welcome to the community!

 

Have you received an automated email after sending a ticket via the contact form? Please also check your Spam folder. If the email leads you back to the community, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

I've done all the things that you metioned, so all I can do is just wait?

I'm getting the same error: Unfortunately, there is no support at the moment to make this type of change to your subscription. Contact our customer service team who can help you further.

 

And no one from Spotify seems to want to help.  I've emailed them, filled out their form, and tweeted them.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

 

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
