My Question or Issue

Hi I have had an issue with my profile as I tried to open Spotify via the app on my phone it immediately logged out and when I logged in It says “wrong username/email or password” however I have all my passwords on my phone and MacBook saved to the passwords app (I also have a seperate way of keeping track of my password). From my saved password on my phone is was saved under my username which seems to be “incorrect” however i tried on my laptop via the Spotify app and it is also saved under the same username which is also incorrect. I tried doing this multiple times deleting the app and even trying just on the browser on multiple devices and nothing worked. I tried sending it to potential emails but nothing worked either. As it was saved via the username I cannot remember which email I put it under however it is not under my main email. Is it possible for my account to be deleted if the email is deleted as well? How can I log in. 

Another point I have managed to login to other profiles attached to the family account however my profile (the one I cannot login to) is the family account manager so how can I change the manger without my profile or add another account. 

I have tried absolutely everything but nothing is working what can I do to fix this? How can I contact Spotify to fix this issue?

In case you've already tried sending a password reset link to all possible emails that could be linked to your account from here, it's also worth checking if your account is connected to a different login method like Facebook, Google, Apple ID, etc. So instead of trying to log in with your username/email address and password, try this if you remember connecting any of them to your account.

 

Since you mentioned that reseting your password didn't work, did you mean you didn't receive an email at all? If that's the case, try the following:

  • Run a search for any incoming email listed from no-reply@spotify.com
  • Delete some emails from your inbox (if possible)
  • Check your junk/spam filter.
