Login on Raymarine Axiom 9

Login on Raymarine Axiom 9

I have a Raymarine Axiom 9. Spotify is installed on it. I can not login to my account on this device. The app has no issues and keeps telling me the user ID or password are incorrect. I started the account with Google on an android, have premium individual plan, connected Facebook AND set a password for other devices. No matter which way I try to login to the app on my raymarine, I'm told the info is incorrect. I have restarted both connections, been logged in and out on Android phone while trying to connect via the axiom display. Nothing works. Help?

Axiom 9 version 4.7.172 (updated within last week)

Spotify app version 8.4.38.621

Can you please check if the issue persists when you try logging into the Spotify app using a different account (e.g. the account of a family member, friend or simply a second account of yours)?

Sorry, but I do not know anyone with a spotify account. While it's also new
to me, I have since exhausted all help and community sections for
resolution. And Raymarine recommends through their sections to seek
assistance from the Spotify platform.

Can you please check if it makes any difference when you try logging in while the device is using a different internet connection, if possible?

Only have Iridium Go (much too slow) and hotspot on the boat. Nothing else
available.

Thanks for the update.

 

I recommend resetting your password here and setting a new one for your account.

 

After that, try logging into the app using your email or Spotify username and password. You can also try logging in via “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Facebook”, since you mentioned youve set up those login methods as well.

 

Lastly, please check if there’s an update available for the Spotify app on your device and if there is, update it. 🙂

Have you tried any of @Maxim's suggestions? As mentioned, it's worth trying alternative login methods, if available, such as Google and Facebook, as well as resetting your password if you haven't already.
