Okay, basically this is the email I sent to Spotify
Here's what we got from you:
Paying for Spotify
I cancelled my account but was still charged
Good morning
I currently have an account on spotify for which I am using and the account name is 'Annaphora' and this morning, I got an email from Paypal stating that I have a transaction for spotify however, my account only have Spotify free.
The transaction number is 343376782011

I got this on April the 5th (today)
I don't recall signing up for the Spotify free trial in March and it must've been that because the only time i'd be paying is after the trial however, I wasn't even in the country during that period and I was in India and I didn't have an internet connection.
I'm a little annoyed with the spotify services because this is the reply they sent.
If you have a question about Spotify, your first stop should be the Spotify Community http://community.spotify.com/ for support from other users. This is also a great place to read up on any company updates that might affect your service as well as posting your own ideas and feedback.
But nevertheless, I'm on here. I would really appreciate some help on this issue because I don't even know what I'm paying for because yeah okay, i paid for (something or some account) but, I don't even know that.
Only the payment team can sort this out for you so reply to any emails you receive until you are satisfied.
I did try to contact them but, I got a rather useless reply from the support team directing me to the Community section. Not that the people here aren't helpful but, it's something that can be only sorted by staff.
What would be another better course of action? Is there a way to contact the payment team?
Please reply to that email and you should hear back from a consultant within 24 hours. If you don't, please post agin with your case number and I'll chase it up.
Thank you so much and I've done that. I feel a little silly asking this however, when replying to the email, it said that it came from no-reply@spotify.com. Does this mean it was just a computer generated email? I'll post again here in 24 hours if nothing is heard. Thank you again! 🙂
