Spotify Premium Trial Not working

Spotify Premium Trial Not working

I started a Free Premium Trial here is what it says under my subscription status:

 

Subscription status

You have an active Spotify Premium subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged $9.99 + $0.82 Sales tax on 2014-01-31 unless you cancel your recurring payment.

 

Was working on Monday and Tuesday but stopped working yesterday and after logging off and back on I am still unable to get it to work.

Ended up emailing support and got it figured out ! =).

I read some recommendations to do a clean install.  I tried this, and logged in and out of the account.  When I did a clean install it notified me that my free trial was over, but my subscription status shows it active until 2014-01-31.

Well guess I should bump this.  I was going back and forth with a Spotify Customer Support member and she mentioned that the trial had created a new account for me.  She said she could close one of the accounts and transfer my free trial to the other one so I would not have 2 accounts with the same/similar username (one just being an email). 

We were emailing back and forth to figure out a fix then she just stopped responding... but at least I figured out why the account wasnt working.  It set up a new account.
