credit card error

credit card error

I recently began to get a message in the desktop app on Win7 saying "The payment card you're currently using expires in a few days." My credit card doesn't expire until 03/2016 though. I clicked the link to update payment details but my card isn't listed anywhere.

 

What can I do?

Hmm, that's definitely interesting!

 

Can you please provide the following information so we can further troubleshoot:

  1. Spotify username
  2. Spotify desktop version
  3. Windows 7 Version
  4. A screenshot of your subscription page and of that error you are receiving can definitely help!

Actually, the link you provided to the subscription page solved the mystery for me. lol

I hadn't seen that page before and it lists the card in question. Apparently all this time I've been using a different card than I thought I was and this one DOES in fact expire 06/2015. So it was just a mix-up on my part. Now I have to figure out why my bank hasn't sent me a new card yet...
