[All Platforms][Other] Button on play queue to shuffle current selections

Currently, in the panel "Playing from play queue" below "Now playing," if there are any selections queued, there is a listing titled "Next in Queue" with one option "Clear Queue".

My request - 

Add an additional button labeled "Shuffle", have it appear only if there is more than one selection in the queue. Pressing this "shuffle" button does a random sort of the selections currently in the queue.

Note : selections below in the "Next from" section are not included, no change is made to their order.

I need this because I routinely make a selection of singles and albums from several artists but I want then to shuffle the selections. This is kind of like building a playlist on the fly.

1. An alternate idea would be to have a button that transfers selections in the queue to a playlist. But that is less preferable because I don't want a new playlist to be added

**bleep** I'm new to spotify on a free trial right now and the fact that I can shuffle the queue might be a deal breaker. I don't understand why this can't happen. When I want to play music for my work day I want to mix up lots of types of music from many playlists of varying artists and genres. Is that too much to ask? Argh...maybe I'll stick with one of the other streaming services.

I like that you can move the queue order around but definitely need a shuffle button since I also add songs to my queue artist by artist.

Yes! I was so disappointed when I moved over from YouTube Music to find out that I couldn't do this. I like to add multiple albums from an artist to my queue and then shuffle them. No can do on Spotify.

Typically when I add songs to my queue, I don't necessarily want them in the order that I added them to my queue. It would be cool to be able to shuffle what I've added to the queue so I don't know what's coming next.

Agreed. This issue was exactly why I came to this forum. It seems like a very basic music player feature.

How many votes does this idea need for it to happen? Please add a shuffle queue option. Please please please. I don't want to have to make a playlist I'm only going to use once.

This is needed.   If you could shuffle a queue, it would provide the same experience as shuffling a playlist but also shuffling multiple playlists.     It's a negative for me to add multiple playlists to a queue and not be able to shuffle them.  I forget that I can't do this and then have to go and remove everything from the queue and play a playlist, one playlist, so I can shuffle.  Basically, without the ability to shuffle, I don't want to be able to add a playlist to the queue.
