Once more;
Got a Premium account registered with a name and a pasword (not a Facebook). Tried to use the app on my Samsung ES7000. From thre attepmts to use it got the following messages:
1. There seemed to be a problem with my account, needed to visit www.spotify.com/samsung. Tried again
2. Could log in, could find the music, but couldn't play any - an erros message (I guess an ID2 or something), Tried to log in again
3. Got the message again, that there is a problem with my account, needed to visit www.spotify.com/samsung. Visited. Nothing - Premium account is active, nothing wrong, no messages or warnings.
Posted a message to the forum - it didn't apprear. Got a message that I have a private message and to read it I need to follow the link and press on the envelope. No envelope to press on when I follow the link. Can't find anything that looks like private message box.

Got my fingers crossed for you guys 🙂
Hi I have a new samsung smart tv f8000. spotify worked for one night now I get the same error message that something is wrong with my account and go to the sptotify/samsung web page. I did there is nothing wrong. It may be coincidence but it seemed to stop working when I signed up for a samsung id
Does anyone have a solution?
I have the same problem--Spotify was working fine on my Samsung TV, then this morning it gave me the "issue with your Spotify account" msg. Spotify works fine on my PC and Samsung phone, but has quit working on my TV. I contacted Spotify, they said it was a Samsung problem. Samsung ran me through some troubleshooting over the phone, and when nothing worked, said it was a Spotify problem. All other internet apps work on my TV, so I think it is a spotify problem, but no one can help. Can anyone say 'Pandora'?
Hmmm.........I'm getting a Samsung F7000 next week so I'll be looking to you guys to help me out 🙂
Getting same here; worked fine for weeks, suddenly today an error. Updated my firmware and uninstalled/reinstalled the app; it lets me log in and I can see the normal interface but with the red error message up top, then it kicks me back to the login page. Haven't made any changes to my account and it works fine on all my other devices.
Hi everyone,
There's a chance that some of you might not be on the latest firmware version, despite your TV showing no upgrade prompt. To double check, head to Menu > Support > Software Upgrade > Alternative Software and select to continue your firmware upgrade.
I have the latest firmware and smarthub software as recommended. I uninstalled the Spotify app, updated everything on the tv itself, power cycled the tv, and reinstalled the Spotify app. Same error message - there appears to be a problem with your account, go to spotify.com/samsung. I have a premium account that works on all other devices. Please advise!
I am having an ongoing conversation with Tech Support [ref:_00DD0pxIW._500D0S4e9y:ref ], but they seem stumped by the problem. Obviously Spotify and Samsung need to quit blaming each other and figure out why the app doesn't work now on Smart TVs, or at least find us a way to reinstall so we can eliminate this issue.
@Patricia
My 'Alternative Software' menu item is grayed out, so that is not going to work.
I finally set up my UE40 F7000 today. After updating to the current firmware, I installed and fired up the spotify app. The login screen threw me - did it really want my facebook name? But I went for it and tossed in my facebook password and it worked. My playlists all appeared and everything looks great so far 🙂
Hello "elpenil"
How dis you solved the problem?
I also have an "error ID:2" in my new samsung tv when trying to access my Spotify Premium music.
