Connected my account to Facebook but the wrong name is displayed

I accidentally linked my Facebook to my Spotify account.

The wrong name is shown even after I have disconnected my facebook from the account. My full name is shown under "Created By" not my facebook name. My facebook name is "Jo Giselle" which is the same as my username. I would much rather my username to be displayed at this point. I don't want my personal information on my playlist and/or spotify page.

I have tried logging in and out, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the application on both my computer and phone but this has not worked.

If the facebook account was connected to an already existing account: You can go to Edit > Preferences and there should be a button saying 'disconnect from facebook'.

Unfortunately if you set the account up with your facebook details it is not possible to disconnect; as there is no Spotify account to disconnect from in this case.

If that still won't work, try logging in to your facebook > settings >  apps >  look for Spotify on the list >  remove.

Hmmm.. weird. Have you tried logging in to your Spotify account via web app using incognito window?

Via web app? As in going to spotify.com? or a different link?
