I have two subscriptions? Totally unaware

Just got spotify a couple of months ago and so far I am totally loving it, I pay 5 pounds a month with my NUS card as I think it's absolutely fantastic. Until yesterday. When the took 9.99 out of my paypal. Shocked I quickly ran onto spotify, and noticed there was no receipt, after doing some serious digging around online someone told me to login with my facebook, which I did, and I have another subscription, I paid 9.99 for nothing? 

I am really confused. 

Has anyone else found themsekfes in this situation like me? 

Will I get my money back??????

Just to add, I no longer have access to my email which I set my facebook up with, I have contacted, However No idea if they replied
