Payment Failed While Subscribing to Spotify Premium (3-Month Free Trial)

My Question or Issue:
I attempted to subscribe to Spotify Premium under the 3-month free trial offer, but my payment failed. I received the message:
“The payment failed. Please try again, use a different payment card or a different payment method.”

I’ve verified that:

  • My card has sufficient funds.
  • My card supports online and international transactions.
  • My Spotify account country matches my card's billing country.

I also tried clearing my browser cache and using a different device, but the issue persists. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue or guide me on alternative steps to activate the trial?

Thanks for coming to the Community and for trying all those troubleshooting steps so far.

 

I recommend reaching out to Support, as they'll be able to take a look into your account and see if there's anything preventing you from completing the transaction: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/ 🙂
