spotify syncs mobile to web , doesnt web to mobile

when i listen to a playlist on spotify mobile it continues on to web (this means I cannot continue where I left off from web)

however when i listen to one on web it is perfectly fine on mobile and I can continue where I left off from mobile how do i make it so they don't sync?

i apologize for all these labels but someone made a horrendous thing in the development

When you're listening on the web, can you let me know which browser you're using? Does the same thing happen when trying to pick up from a different browser or private window? 

Also, can you let me know the make and model of your mobile device, and the desktop?

it happens on any browser and I have a windows 10 pc and a samsung mobile phone, i think it might be an option but idk which one. pc doesn't sync to mobile but mobile syncs to pc
